Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We are developing a CMOS image sensor suitable for low voltage driving using source-voltage modulation. In this sensor, voltage change at photodiode caused by the incident light is converted into the pulse width by applying a ramp-shaped waveform to the source node of the pixel amplifier to modulate its threshold voltage. We report image acquisition results at power supply voltage of 1.5V except select and reset transistors with low-voltage pulse-width-modulation image sensor using source modulation.
