Abstract(in English) In RoF technology which can transmit various RF signals with their format kept, when transmitting various RF signals by a single optical fiber, it is required very high dynamic-range. To obtain high dynamic-range by simultaneous suppression of 2nd and 3rd order nonlinear distortion, the tandem connected electro absorption modulator (EAM) scheme had been proposed and experimentally demonstrated. In this paper, the parallel connected EAM scheme will be proposed and experimentally demonstrated. Moreover, it will be compared suppression characteristics of both schemes.
