Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The workshops with intention to learn robot technology have been held at the Sendai science Museum since 1996. The self-running robot kits "BontenMaru" and LED light control device "IrohaHime" were produced through these activities, and a beginners class course and an intermediate course were provided as learning menus. On the grounds that we considered robotics education in school has needed to be developed gradually and continuously, we attempted to set in robot technology to elementary school class. This is a report that the robot technology was applied in formative play. We emphasize the importance that formative play is based on creative play, and that formative play is suitable for an introduction of engineers' education.
