Abstract(in English) At department of Electronics and Computer Science of Iwaki Meisei University, we have established the new subject named "Technologies of Electronics and Computer Science I,II" in order to the first year education since 2005. In this subject, we took charge of the laboratories for making soccer robots (building and programming) with simple kits, and our aim is giving the motivation of "manufacturing (monodukuri in Japanese)" and "programming" to the new students. After that, we found next 2 things from the surveys. 1) We successed giving motivation of "manufacturing". 2) We couldn't get enough results about "programming".
