| Abstract(in English) | With the development of broadband networks, multiparty audiovisual communication services are beginning to be provided. To establish quality design and management methods in multiparty communication services, it is indispensable to clarify the subjective quality taking into consideration the characteristics of quality factors for multiparty communications and to establish a quality estimation method that can estimate subjective quality accurately. I previously examined characteristics of subjective qualities of three-party audiovisual communication and proposed conversational quality estimation models. In this paper, to establish a quality estimation model that is applicable to audiovisual communications with more than three-parties, I investigated the subjective quality characteristics of audiovisual communications with more than three parties and verified the estimation accuracy of the perceived, i.e., viewing and listening, quality estimation models. The results indicate that the perceived quality can be estimated by the proposed method with sufficient accuracy, which is within the means of the confidence intervals of subjective quality assessment values. |
