Message writing and psychological factors in E-Yosegaki on a tablet computer

Abstract(in English) We developed E-Yosegaki as a tool for N-to-1 communication which is communication from multiple people to an individual. E-Yosegaki is a tangible communication media implemented on a tablet computer. This paper describes our analysis of the tool's design requirements and the potentials of N-to-1 communication, as well as results from user evaluations of the developed E-Yosegaki tool. Focus groups sessions were conducted in a real Yosegaki situation. Before and after questionnaires surveyed the sizes of letters written, and the sizes and positions of message area.
