Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is important to measure the shape and falling patterns of snowflakes quantatively for elucidating their formation. Falling snowflakes are pursued by using multi-video cameras from vertical and horizontal directions in a longer and wider range than the previous observation. The shape and falling motions of snowflakes are analyzed and classified by the two dimensional images, which are continuously captured from movies. The relationships of these size, shape and falling patterns are also investigated.
