Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a method of detecting frequent shots from video in order to perform effective access interface for video scene. Frequent shots can be obtained by clustering key frame images of each shot. We introduce region-based image similarity measure to realize content-based image clustering. Experimental results show that proposed method can detect frequent shots from various genre video with high accuracy.
