Bandwidth Reservation for Overlay Multicast

Abstract(in English) In order to transmit multicast data by using overlay muticast, required bandwidth should be reserved in all underlying physical links before data transmission. Since some underlying physical links may be included in multiple overlay links, it may be impossible for the overlay links to be used simultaneously for overlay multicast. For solving this problem, this paper proposes a novel multicast-tree construction and wavelength reservation methods which are based on relation among multiple overlay links including the same underlying physical links.
