Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper addresses the problem of automatically verifying whether contents of two sentences are semantically equivalent to each other. Most existing methods classified with Essay Testing such as E-rater, which verify the content equivalency of two essays by using similarity measure based on bag-of-words. To realize more advanced content equivalency verification, it is possible to utilize semantic and/or syntactic information. The authors propose a new verification method based on semantic and/or syntactic information extracted from dependency structures of verification target sentences.
