Design of EBG Resonator Antenna With Printed Dipole Array

Abstract(in English) Fundamental study of EBG (Electromagnetic Band Gap) resonator antenna with PDA (Printed Dipole Array) composed of a patch antenna and dipole array printed on a dielectric substrate is presented by experiment and FDTD simulation. The relationship between the parameters such as the size of PDA elements and the actual gainof EBG resonator antenna is investigated experimentally and numerically, and the condition to obtain high gain is described.
