Abstract(in English) | For realization of a quantum computer, we laser cool Ba^+ ions trapped in a linear RF ion trap by using laser diodes. The temperature of Ba^+ ions is estimated to be 5.8kK, and a dark line is observed in the image of fluorescense from the cloud of Ba^+ ions. |
