Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Laser systems have been widely applied in micro machining fields such as VIA drilling. High power all solid-state UV lasers are demanded for more precise machining. We developed an above 250-W linearly polarized TEM_<00> Q-swiched all-solid state Nd:YAG laser with a MOPA system and obtained 80-W third harmonics(355nm) at the repetition rate of 20kHz by the wavelength conversion technique.
