A probabilistic congestion evaluation and packet routing

Abstract(in English) We report an evaluation method for congestion status of router queueing, using a value of queue buffer length. We assume that queue length and queuing delay characteristics follow Wiener Process. Congestion status can be delived from probability satisfying threshold of queue length that is expressed with probability distribution and process functions. We also report a method of congestion risk evaluation using fluctuation velocity of value of congestion evaluation. We show validity of the method using network simulator.
