Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, multipoint real-time communication has been increasing with the spread of broadband access. In multipoint real-time communication, one member needs to transmit information to all of the other members. However, there are some problems in real-time multicasting. Concretely, end-to-end delay and packet loss rate are different between multicast members. Thus, we propose a new control mechanism in the root node of the shared tree, in the shared-tree type application-level multicast. We aim to realize the fairness of time and quality between multicast members. In addition, it is confirmed that our proposed method is effective through the performance evaluation by computer simulation.
