| 抄録(和) | コンテンツ配信サービスにおいては,どのような時間帯においても,ユーザからの配信要求のすべてに対応してコンテンツを配信するサービスが理想的であると考えられる.しかしながら,現実のコンテンツ配信サービスでは,回線やサーバの輻輳状況によって,ユーザからの配信要求に即座に対応することができない状況が存在する.このような状況では,回線やサーバに極端な負荷がかかることを回避するため,ユーザからの配信要求を呼損として拒否する必要がある.しかしながら,頻繁に配信要求を拒否するようなサービスでは,ユーザの満足度が著しく低下し,サービスとして成り立たなくなる恐れがある.本稿では,ユーザの配信要求が拒否される可能性があるサービスにおいて,ユーザの支払意思額と呼損率がどのような関係にあるかを明らかにしている. |
| 抄録(英) | In content download services, it is ideal to deliver contents to all users, whether the network is congested or not. However, in the real network services, there are a lot of situations where the servers or links are congested, and it is difficult to deliver contents to users immediately. On these situations, it is effective to reject users' requests to avoid extreme load. On the other hand, if the server rejects users' requests frequently, users' utility will decrease, and many users will leave the service. By questionnaire survey, we investigated willingness to pay of content download service which has a possibility to reject users' requests according to network congestion. This paper analyses the results of questionnaire survey, and shows the relation between call blocking probability and willingness to pay. |
