Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In content download services, it is ideal to deliver contents to all users, whether the network is congested or not. However, in the real network services, there are a lot of situations where the servers or links are congested, and it is difficult to deliver contents to users immediately. On these situations, it is effective to reject users' requests to avoid extreme load. On the other hand, if the server rejects users' requests frequently, users' utility will decrease, and many users will leave the service. By questionnaire survey, we investigated willingness to pay of content download service which has a possibility to reject users' requests according to network congestion. This paper analyses the results of questionnaire survey, and shows the relation between call blocking probability and willingness to pay.
