Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, new calibration matrix to remove the mutual coupling effect on antenna array is proposed. When we calibrate an antenna array using itself only, we classically regarded the antenna array as an equivalent circuit. Then, calibration matrix is calculated by using the estimated impedance matrix. The authors separate current affected by the mutual coupling effect and define new impedance matrices. Moreover, the authors get calibration matrix from proposed circuit equation and calculate the calibration matrix numerically. The authors show that proposed technique allows more precise calibration compared to conventional calibration techniques.
