Abstract(in English) | Practical realization of wireless sensor networks needs to reduce power consumption of sensor node. Previous research is based on the assumption that communications traffic is a little. But considering increment of handed data and relayed data on real network, communications traffic will be increased. Increment of communications traffic increases transmit power and receive power. In this paper, we propose power consumption reduction with transmit power control. In proposal method, transmitter sets RF output power with signal level and noise level from receiver. This method doesn't need absoluteness baseline such as reference signal from server, so this method can be used for wireless sensor networks. The findings in the verification with pilot sensor node revealed that this method will reduce 52.7% transmit power. |
