Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We will discuss a trial-report of remote captioning services for a symposium that had been held in Yakushima Island in May, 2005. In this paper, we describe a remote captioning system for a symposium and results of trials. Results show that necessary information is different in sign language interpretation and captioning, therefore it is necessary to change the combination of images respectively, and it is necessary to examine the method of presenting the keyword in the personal computer screen of the interpreter.
