| 抄録(和) | 現在,点字を墨字として編集できるエディタが開発され,点訳の効率を上げることに貢献している.しかし,数式の記述においては,一般の点字エディタは点字を対応する数学記号で表示する機能はなく,点字のまま編集しなければならない.また,膨大な数の数学記号を手作業で入力していくのは大変手間のかかる作業となる.これが数式を含んだ文書の点訳作業の効率を落とす原因の1つとなっている.今回,我々が開発中の科学文書認識システムと組み合わせた,数式を含んだ文書の点訳システムのプロトタイプの紹介を行う.これは,科学技術文書を認識し,数式も含めて墨字の状態で修正を行った後,自動点訳を行う.その結果を,数学点字も墨字で表記し,そのまま編集できる点字エディタを用いてレイアウトの調整を行う.これにより数学文書の点訳のコストを大幅に削減が期待される. |
| 抄録(英) | Current Braille editor displays printed characters corresponding to Braille characters so that translators can easily understand what they are editing. However, for mathematical formulae, there is no practical system which displays mathematical symbols corresponding to Braille characters, so translators must edit viewing Braille characters. Because of complicated translating rules and a lot of mathematical symbols, Braille translating of mathematical formulae needs special skills and knowledge. These problems cause increasing const of Braille translation. In this paper, we propose a prototype of Braille translating system for mathematical documents. This system utilizing our mathematical document recognizer, named Infty, to recognize and edit that documents. After that, by InftyBrailleEditor translating them into Braille, translators easily edit the translation results viewing mathematical symbols corresponding to Braille characters. |
