Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Current Braille editor displays printed characters corresponding to Braille characters so that translators can easily understand what they are editing. However, for mathematical formulae, there is no practical system which displays mathematical symbols corresponding to Braille characters, so translators must edit viewing Braille characters. Because of complicated translating rules and a lot of mathematical symbols, Braille translating of mathematical formulae needs special skills and knowledge. These problems cause increasing const of Braille translation. In this paper, we propose a prototype of Braille translating system for mathematical documents. This system utilizing our mathematical document recognizer, named Infty, to recognize and edit that documents. After that, by InftyBrailleEditor translating them into Braille, translators easily edit the translation results viewing mathematical symbols corresponding to Braille characters.
