Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In ubiquitous environments, sensors, GPS devices, or RFID tags will unilaterally gather enormous private information without users' permission. If providers want to obtain permission directly from each user every time they want to use private data for timely service preparations, some functions for negotiating private information disclosure will be needed. Therefore, it is necessary to establish objective evaluation methods for privacy protection levels (confidentiality levels). Therefore we have proposed an anonymity quantification method called LooM (loosely managed privacy protection method) to solve the privacy protection problem for private information disclosure. In this paper, we apply this LooM to an information sharing services for crime prevention support, and we implement some functions for realization of this service and confirm the feasibility of this function.
