Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The autonomous clustering scheme has been proposed to construct the hierarchical structure in the ad hoc networks. In this scheme, the node called clusterhead which manages the cluster periodically broadcasts control packets within the cluster and constructs the clusterhead-based tree. There is a problem that nodes have much overhead in clusters. In order to cope with the problem, this paper proposes a new autonomous clustering scheme enabling adaptive tree update by using the location information of nodes. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme has lower overhead and provides more stable clusters than the previous scheme.
