| 抄録(和) | 顔画像による個人認証では登録画像と照合画像の二枚から本人かどうかを判定する。運用状況によっては部分隠れや表情変化等、既存の顔認証エンジンでは許容し難い照合画像が得られ、性能低下の一因となっている。この間題に自己連想記憶を適用し、登録画像から構築した想起行列を経由して得られる照合画像からの想起画像を利用して、顔認証システムの性能がどの程度改善するかについて評価した。41人を動員した顔認証実験で取得した登録・照合用顔画像による評価では、Equal Error Rateが20%から15%に改善する結果を得た。本発表では登録者の増大とともに劣化する想起能力についても検討を加え、現状の課題を明らかにする。 |
| 抄録(英) | In some situations of face authentication by face images, the system performance will be degraded caused by partial occlusion, facial expression, and so on. Therefore we applied the framework of auto-associative memory to cope with this problem, and evaluated the degree of improvement of the system performance compared to the original one. The face images were collected from forty-one persons as an experiment. As a result, we obtained an improvement of equal error rate from 20% down to 15%. We also referred to the degraded performance brought about by the increase of the number of registered persons. |
