| Abstract(in English) | Due to recent affairs in our society, the demands for security have been increasing rapidly. While personal identification systems using finger print, visual surveillance systems and so on may supply advanced secure systems, several issues on processing performance and cost occur. This paper describes surrounding source recognition technologies applicable to surveillance systems without camera. We review several studies on footstep recognition and follows surrounding source detection and recognition. Finally we present technical issues on these fields, and we show the role of soft secure systems. |
