| 抄録(和) | 国際宇宙ステーション(ISS)のコロンバスモジュールに搭載し,欧州宇宙機関(ESA)の科学ミッションとして宇宙において量子通信を実施するプロジェクトのフィジビリティスタディがウイーン大学等により行われている.本ミッションは,ウイーン大学のA.Zeilinger教授のグループが中心となって提案を行っており,"SPACEQUEST"と呼ばれている.SPACEQUESTは,ESAのISS搭載ミッション選定では,"Outstanding"という評価になっており,実験のフィジビリティーは評判がよく高い.本ミッション打ち上げは2011年頃の予定である.量子暗号鍵配布の宇宙デモンストレーションを行う際,光地上局が多いほどグローバルな量子鍵配布の実験が行え,国際協力としても意味あるため,日本でも量子鍵配布実験を行うことが出来る可能性がある.本稿では,日本における宇宙量子暗号通信の研究開発の方向性について述べる. |
| 抄録(英) | A quantum communication demonstration is proposed by Prof. A. Zeilinger group of University of Vienna as an ESA's scientific mission onboard the Columbus module in the International Space Station (ISS), which is called SPACEQUEST. The quantum cryptography employing entangled photons is demonstrated using three optical ground stations in Europe. There is a possibility for Japan to join it as one of the optical ground stations for the quantum key distribution. In this paper, the overview of the SPACEQUEST project is introduced, and the research and development of space quantum cryptography communications in Japan is discussed. |
