Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Tests have been useful methods to evaluate students' achievements not only in ordinary classes in school but also on many CAI and e-Learning systems. Even though scores of the tests give valuable information to rank the students, it is unclear how to evaluate students' understanding level with the numerical value of their scores. For example, in case of using multiple-choice test, 70 percents marks don't mean 70 percents understanding of content Therefore, we have been developing a method for evaluating students' achievements in terms of "quantity of knowledge" and "quality of knowledge". In this paper, we discuss concept of this method and its implemented system, in which students study the subjects for the information processing engineers examination using a Course Management System.
