Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a method for fast position tracking in display-based position measurement system. It consists of a display device and photo sensors that can track receiver position. A fiducial marker is projected onto the background of the projection area. If the movement causes the photodiodes to detect the brightness of the fiducial marker, and system calculates the position of the receiver. The tracking of the receiver that moved at high speed was enabled by increasing the sampling speed in the receiver. Many types of projection systems, including displays such as LCDs and desktop monitors can use this tracking technology.
