Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Lately, as the amount of video content available via Internet, TV, or digital video camcorders increases, various types of video editing tools have been developed to help average users to create their own videos. However, users still need professional skills or special editing knowledge to create attractive videos. To tackle this problem, we aim at the development of a video edit support system by adopting video editing techniques obtained from example professionally edited videos. One of the well-known editing techniques is to synchronize images and audio to produce harmonic effects within videos. In this paper, we propose a method of learning synchronous patterns between visual and audio temporal changes by analyzing audio changes based on low-level features at shot changes.
