Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We make double saccades when a target shifts during saccade. But we can learn to make single saccade to the final destination after observing the same stimulus presentation many times. This is called saccadic adaptation. It has been fully investigated the effect of saccadic adaptation on a single plane (same depth). In this study we investigated the effect of saccadic adaptation to the targets whose depth was different from that to produce saccadic adaptation. The results showed that saccadic adaptation occured for the targets being different in depth. We suggested that the calibration of version eye movement is independent of vergence (depth).
