| Abstract(in English) | Java-based remote monitoring and controlling system has been developed. Its system configuration and facilities are introduced in this paper. And its user interface is described which has been designed for mobile devices such as cellular phones. The emote monitoring and controlling system obtains monitored picture images from its network camera, cumulates them as JPEG file, and then transfers them into cellular phones for request from mobile clients. Such images can be displayed on a terminal of mobile devices. Our monitoring and controlling system generates control information to turn On/Off remote appliance through Open PLANET technology. A brief evaluation, future problems and trial improvement are also mentioned in the last half of this paper. |
