Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report focuses upon the public relations information service system by a signed language as a language medium and with mobile phones as information terminals. We have built a certain experimental service system for delivering public relations information by both Japanese and Japanese Sign Language(LSL). We have done an evaluation testing for the system with three groups: deaf people who use JSL in their everyday life; signed language (JSL) hearing interpreters; and editors of the public relations magazine. From the evaluation results, we point out certain issues to be considered thoroughly for building and managing a real information service system.
