Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, various kinds of input devices have been adopted in educational systems. Generally, writing skill training systems often uses a pen tablet as the input device. However, this type of tablet has following interface problems: students cannot use normal papers, they cannot use common writing materials, and their handwriting cannot be remained. For solving these problems, we use the video tablet with stereo cameras as the input device. This video tablet system processes the images taken by two cameras and detects the point of a pen. Using this system, we show the precision of three-dimensional measurement of the pen's point to determine the stroke.
