Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the acoustic echo canceller, it is generally desirable to make adjustment of an adaptive filter(ADF) small, as the estimate progresses. However, it is necessary to bring the updating forward at the time of echo path changing, and to stop the updating at the time of a double talk. Therefore, the step size parameter control with a sub-adaptive filter(SUB-ADF) has been already proposed as an acoustic echo canceller responding to the double-talk and the echo path change. However, there are really differences of convergence properties between Sub-ADF and ADF. Hence, this technique has a probrem that an error is caused in controlling step size. Furthermore, this technique cannot operate adequately if a double-talk and a echo path change occure simultaneously. Therefore, we propose a novel method that improves the differences of convergence properties and combines a double-talk detector. The proposed method can realize superior convergence performance to the conventional ones when double-talk occures.
