Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a new spectral amplitude estimator for acoustical background noise suppression based on maximum a posteriori estimation and weighted noise estimation. Since the spectral amplitude estimator cannot suppress sinusoid signals generated from an arbitrary time of an observed signal except for several initial times, we add an adaptive line enhancer (ALE) to the spectral amplitude estimator for eliminating the sinusoids. The proposed spectral estimator with ALE can dramatically suppress the broad-band noise and narrow-band noises both.
