Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have proposed an IP optical cut-through network system. In this system, optical paths are allocated dynamically between nodes in which heavy traffic are flown. This mechanism can reduce the traffic load in IP routers, since about 90% of traffic are forwarded in optical layer without electric processing in IP layer. We have developed the test-bed system of IP optical cut-through network system with 6 nodes. In this paper, we reports the experimental results of the system.
