Abstract(in English) | A high-isolation resin T-junction structure is proposed and developed. It consists of a conventional E-plane T-junction waveguide with an added absorption port at its side-wall. Although it is similar to a well-known "magic-T" circuit, the proposed T-junction has more simplified structure with smaller weight and size, due to the use of the dielectric material. It has been observed that the fabricated T-junction has an isolation of 12-40dB between the two dividing-ports in about 10% bandwidth. It corresponds to an increase of 5-30dB from that of a conventional E-plane T-junction waveguide. |
