Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To yield a large communication capacity in future mobile satellite communication systems, a multi-beam system must be employed onboard antenna system that consist of light weight 20-m class reflector and light weight 100-beam antenna feeder. We clarified another problem that antenna gain decrease with deformed reflector surface in orbit is not negligible. This paper presents a deformed antenna patterns compensation method using minimum circuits. Validities of the proposed method are confirmed by antenna pattern calculations and experiments of a fabricated phased array fed reflector antenna.
