Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The educational issues have not been widely discussed, even since we fully recognized the importance of information ethics education. In most curriculums, the aims of information ethics education seem to be the following: (1) to improve information literacy by providing a wider range of basic knowledge about Information Technology, (2) to improve moral education, (3) to provide legal knowledge about Information Technology. What is more important, however, is to enhance students' ability to make ethical decisions, which has not been emphasized. In this paper I will firstly show the outline of the educational issues on information ethics education and then propose a program designed for students at universities of science and technology.
