Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To solve traffic increase on the Internet, μSEcast protocol has been proposed as a novel IP packet transmission mechanism that efficiently achieves simultaneous data delivery. However, a sufficient routing mechanism is not implemented on the conventional μSEcast, the protocol can be used only between two points. To make data delivery more widely and efficiently, μSEcast needs to be applied among multiple points. This paper improves μSEcast protocol so that it can be used on multipoint connections. We implement the proposed μSEcast on a IP testbed network that has three interconnected LAN, and evaluate its performance.
