Abstract(in English) | Bronchus is composed of wall and air regions. Early stage lung cancer and airway diseases of asthma and bronchiectasis are diseases that changes bronchial wall thickness. When doctors diagnose these diseases, it is important that they know some information about bronchial wall thickness. We were considered in accuracy of extraction of bronchial wall region that take images of axis of the body. It is said that bronchial wall thickness is 1-2mm or less in the anatomy. Pixel size is about 0.6mm, so we can not draw bronchial wall thickness for only 1-4pixels. Therefore, we propose a method of expanding original images by means of a sine interpolation technique. In this paper, we evaluate phantom images that have a variety of inclination degree. |
