Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have developed computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) system for lung cancer and, conducted clinical trials. We should construct a database of medical images to improvement for CAD technology. Therefore, we have to collect huge images. But in secondary use of medical images, it is a big problem to protect personal information. The purpose of this study to solve the problem is to anonymize personal information of DICOM images, and to develop an auto data storage system with anonymization function. The system is used in Department of Radiology Tokushima University Hospital since December 2005,This paper reports on the effectiveness of the system in smooth data collection.
