Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, we propose the filter of enhancing vessels to extract liver vessels from 3-D X-ray non-contrast CT images automatically and evaluate the performance of the filter. At first, we smooth to 3-D X-ray non-contrast CT images, and enhance voxels which has the range of estimated liver vessel grayscale-level. Next, we enhance the line components using multi-scale filtering. In this result of experiments, we show that our proposed method can enhance liver vessels because the average of voxel value at liver vessels is three times non-vessel as large.
