| 抄録(和) | 画像認識では,直交する特徴空間での内積に基づいた相違度を導入する場合がある。この場合,基底要素が表す画像パタン間の相違度はいずれの組み合わせにおいても同じであることが前提となるけれども,たとえばDCT基底要素群が表す画像群はこの前提を満たすようには知覚されない。そこで上記画像間の相違度を自然に設定するためEMDを導入する。まず画像の特徴空間での成分を符合で分割した後に正規化する。そのうえで符合毎のEMDを統合して画像間の相違度とする方法を提案する。 |
| 抄録(英) | In the field of image recognition, there is a method of introducing a dissimilarity measure derived from an inner product in an image feature space spanned by a suitable orthonormal basis. Although it is assumed that the dissimilarity measure between every pair of image patterns represented by elements of the basis is equal to one another, this assumption seems not to be satisfied perceptually. To overcome the problem, we introduce the EMD. We first segment feature components of an image into two groups according to signs of the feature components; then, the feature components of each group are normalized and applied to calculating each EMD. Finally, the EMDs are integrated as a dissimilarity measure. In the presence of noise, we made experiments in which images were matched with standard images on the basis of the integrated EMDs. Their results sustain the proposed method possesses the robustness. |
