Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recent advancement in wireless communications and electronics has enabled the development of low-cost wireless sensor networks. Multiple services would be provided in the wireless sensor networks that consist of many sensor nodes. Efficient network management is important for large wireless sensor networks. In this paper, we investigate network management that would detect a node failure accuracy and rapidly. In wireless systems, a link state between neighbor nodes would be affected by interference or physical changes. So a link state with a neighbor node wouldn't reflect the node state necessarily. We propose a diagnostic method that locally verifies a node state and report evaluation of the method by computer simulation.
