Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes an adaptive frame control technique for single-carrier broadband transmission systems which employ frequency domain soft canceller with minimum mean square error filter (FD-SC/MMSE) to enhance its channel tracking ability. In the proposed scheme each frame is subdivided into several subframes that corresponds to the discrete Fourier transform (DFT) block length, by changing insertion cycle of the pilot symbol sequence embedded in each frame. As a result, the pilot symbol sequence can be used not only for channel estimation but also for guarantee of stable circularity of the channel transfer function by utilizing it as the cyclic prefix of each subframe. Computer simulation confirms that the proposed technique algorithm promises robustness even in high mobility conditions.
