Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Multi-target Constant Modulus Algorithm has been known as a method for blindly separating multiple cochannel signals by an antenna array. This conventional method sequentially estimates the weight vector of each user under a subspace constraint based on the orthogonality of array output signals. However, when the number of co-channel signals exceeds the number of antenna or SNR is low, the estimation performance degrades due to loss of the orthogonality. In order to this problem, we propose a new subspace estimation method based on characteristics of signal covariance matrix, which is independent of the orthogonality. Computer simulation results show that the proposed method offers higher SINR than the conventional one, and SINR of proposed method close to that of MMSE.
