Abstract(in English) Recently, Chang, Yang and Hwang proposed a threshold signature scheme for group communications without a shared distribution center, which includes a (t, n) threshold signature process and a (k, l) threshold verification process. In their scheme, any t participants can represent a group (signing group) to sign a message, and any k participants can represent another group (verifying group) to verify the signature. However, their scheme is insecure. In this paper, we shall make some cryptanalysis on their scheme and show that it violates the requirement upon the (t, n) threshold signature with (k, l) threshold-shared verification.
