Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, a wave absorber based on rainforced plastic including glass fiber with periodic lattice is proposed, and characteristics of the absorption and the shielding effect is examined at 5.8GHz for ETC. First, the relation between loadings of carbon powder and the material constant is examined and optimal loadings for wave absorber of single-layer plate are determined. Periodic lattice is opened to this absorber, and optimal thickness is analyzed by using of finite integration method. The absorber sample is fabricated based on this designed values and characteristics of the absorption is measured. As a result, it is confirmed that 10dB or more can be obtained at the incident angle ranging from 5 to 55 degrees for circularly polarized wave. Furthermore, the shielding effect is also measured and 20dB or more is confirmed. Therefore, realization of the wave absorber with periodic lattice for ETC is clarified.
